Valentine’s Day Women’s Hangout

It is no surprise walking into any place in February and inundated with red hearts, pink flowers, and lovely script lines like "be mine" printed everywhere. Valentine's Day can be lonely, and single women feel unhappy. Rather than seeing a lack of a romantic relationship as a hindrance in life, we see it as an opportunity to meet new people, connect and be happy.

It was a day for celebrating friendships and all things woman power for us at Wonderfully Made Woman; We don't see why single women can't celebrate on the 14th as well. Most importantly, we need to accept, love and cherish ourselves no matter which day of the year it is.

What better way to celebrate love than to spend some quality time with our group of diverse women? We had brunch at our favourite fast-food place, KFC, and we just had a good time with great music, yummy food, a positive atmosphere and great conversations.

The women went home with some self-care kits and were reminded that they are lovable and worthy of love. We appreciate all the women who came out to celebrate at the Valentine Hangout, as well as KFC for allowing us to express love and joy in their space without any restrictions.
